Having sensed the vulnerability and fractured status of economic equilibrium of the poor women Artisans, MNEC has taken an absolute initiative to gather the women artisans in Mudurai Districts.

1200 Women Handicrafts Artisans in SHGs are identified, enrolled their name in the support intervention for training and distributed Certificates.

444 identified women handicrafts artisans have been covered under Reliance and Rajv Gandhi Shilpi Swasthya Bima Yozna, a health and general insurance scheme for undergoing treatment, by the artisans and family, as out patient and inpatient in any hospital.
